Nextvoyage was founded in 2020 by a team that had spent more than a decade building and implementing voyage management systems for shipping companies. We combine a deep understanding of commercial shipping workflows with modern engineering practices.
Mark Pith
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Mark founded Nextvoyage in 2020 after designing and developing the system, following a career in maritime software roles across Europe and Asia. He combines entrepreneurship with technical know-how, and holds an MSc in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam.

John Viggiano
Chief Operating Officer
John joined Nextvoyage in September 2022 and leads operations, with a focus on strategies that bring value to clients quickly. He has worked across the IT sector, including maritime technology, after starting his career in telecommunications. He holds a BA in Information Science from the State University of New York and is a certified PMP, PMI-ACP, and Scrum Master.

Jonathan McLean
Chief Technology Officer
Jonathan joined Nextvoyage in September 2022 and leads product engineering and solution architecture. He has worked in product design, development and implementation in the maritime technology industry, and with NGOs including the US Peace Corps and World Computer Exchange. He holds a BA in Computer Science from Connecticut College.
