We seek a highly motivated and experienced Customer Success Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our clients within the maritime tech industry. With a deep understanding of voyage and freight management software products, the Customer Success Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving adoption and utilization of our solutions, and providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the customer lifecycle.
Our software product, called “nextvoyage”, empowers maritime shippers to optimize their businesses with a complete end-to-end freight management platform. It offers a modern, cloud-based Software as a Service (“SaaS”) solution for ship owners and operators, as well as commodity traders and producers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation and providing comprehensive training and guidance on our software solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients within the maritime tech industry, serving as their trusted advisor and advocate.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and pain points, and provide strategic guidance on how our software solutions can address their needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Support, to ensure seamless implementation, onboarding, and ongoing support for clients.
- Proactively monitor and analyze client usage data to identify opportunities for further enhancement to achieve better market fit
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and priorities internally, ensuring that their voices are heard and addressed within the organization.
Qualifications and Relevant Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing support, success, or account management roles for ERP software solutions, preferably with a focus on commercial maritime shipping software products.
- 3+ years of experience in building data-oriented deliverables, such as Excel reports, PowerBI Dashboards, or scripts used to call on web API
- Professional experience with CRM systems, project management tools, and other software applications used in customer success management
- Business-level written-English skills and an ability to document and publish technical workflows for enterprise software products
- Business-level verbal English skills and an ability to conduct virtual meetings using remote meeting software, such as Microsoft Teams
- University-level degrees are not a requirement, but experience gained during university courses will be taken into consideration
- Non-software experience in roles such as Chartering, Operations, Post Fixture or Voyage Accounting in the Maritime Bulk Shipping industry is a benefit

Azure Full Stack Developer

We seek an experienced Azure Full Stack Developer living in Portugal who will work remotely. Our software product, nextvoyage, is a cloud-based SaaS solution that optimizes maritime shipping with a modern freight management platform.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works independently, and takes initiative. You’ll join a growing company that values smart product decisions and sustainable growth. Your main responsibility will be to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions for our clients. This will involve working with C#, ASP.NET, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and Angular. Strong experience with cloud- based applications on Microsoft Azure, debugging, maintaining, and developing new features is required. We expect you to be comfortable discussing your architecture and engineering choices and to provide opinions and counter-opinions. A test-driven design approach is preferred. We use an agile framework of sprints to deliver our work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications using Azure Cloud Services
- Develop, test, and deploy back-end applications using .NET C# and Microsoft Azure
- Develop, test, and deploy front-end applications using Angular and Bootstrap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and applications
- Take ownership of projects internally and drive them to completion with limited supervision
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of code
- Utilize best practices for software development, such as continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Ensure the security and scalability of applications
- Communicate directly with Project Managers to understand the status and delivery timelines of projects and features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Write tests for new and existing code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer, with a strong focus on .NET C# back-end development
- Experience with working independently is a must
- Experience with Angular+Bootstrap front-end development
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services and Azure SQL DB
- Experience with Git version control
- Knowledge of software design patterns such as Dependency Injection and Inversion, Microservices, Asynchronous programming, and best practices for software development
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience building and consuming APIs
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with JIRA for both Software Development Management and Client Support Management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional spoken and written communication skills in the English language and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients in a globally distributed setting
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is a plus but not mandatory
